About Michael Wynne
As
an international marketing strategist, Michael
Wynne helps companies grow and profit in global
markets by anticipating the consequences of
future decisions. He currently serves as
President of International Management Consulting
Associates (IMCA), whose forward-looking focus is
reflected in the firm's slogan "'The
Business Of Our Firm Is The Future Of Our
Clients.
Michael Wynne is the former President who
turned Mobil Ami, S.A. ( a chemical specialties
subsidiary of Mobil Corporation operating in
seven foreign countries) into Mobil's most
profitable business in Latin America. He also
served as Strategic Planning Manager with Mobil
Chemical Company where he developed highly
successful global strategies for a $400 million
division.
Later promoted to General Manager of a worldwide
chemical specialties group that served industries
in many countries, he gave the organization a
market -driven orientation and spurred new
technology development.
As a member of the board of directors, he
introduced strategic marketing thinking to
professional organizations such as the
Association of American Chambers of Commerce In
Latin America (AACCLA), Professional Speakers Of
Illinois (chapter of the National Speakers
Association), Training Alliance of Chicago, and
the Meetings Industry Council of Chicago.
A prolific and respected writer, Michael authored
Sci-Tech Selling (Prentice Hall, 1987)
and his articles have appeared in numerous
publications such as the Wall Street Journal,
Sales & Marketing Executives Magazine,
Selling Power Magazine, Sales &
Marketing Executives Magazine, Sharing
Ideas Magazine and the American Society
of Association Executives Magazine among
others
