Relationship Speakers

"Relationships are all there is. Everything in the universe only exists because it is in relationship to everything else. Nothing exists in isolation. We have to stop pretending we are individuals that can go it alone."  -- Margaret Wheatley

BUCK BRANNAMAN was the basis for the character Tom Booker, the central figure in Nicholas Evans' best-selling novel The Horse Whisperer and the film version, directed by Robert Redford. In the motion picture, Redford stars as Booker, the cowboy who heals a fear-crazed horse along with the mother and daughter who bring the animal to him. Buck’s work with horses, as it turns out, also served to rescue him from a troubled past. Brannaman himself was an abused child: the compassion and empathy he has brought to training horses has helped him deal with a history of conflict and violence.

FRANK BUCARO'S unique approach blends the serious subject of ethics with a humorous and high-energy presentation style.  The result is a riveting and fun experience for the entire audience. Now a business owner, author, speaker and consultant, Frank explains, “unwavering attention to ethical practices and behaviors is necessary.  For example, this attention reduces vulnerability to costly and embarrassing legal problems, supports employee morale and retention, and fosters quality customer relationships.  An ethical environment helps to create fertile ground for growth and productivity.”

JOE CAMP and Benji believes that the human spirit can still rise above the doom and gloom into which it seems so often born. The unknown, the uncelebrated can still mount a white horse, charge off into the distance and accomplish things worthwhile, and hold his or her head high in the process. His are presentations of promise for all who battle the odds for things held dear and, perhaps, surrender too quickly to those indolent, oft-spoken assurances: You can't do that! That's impossible! Give up! Quit! Sit down! Shut up! Go away! Joe is a passionate and inspirational speaker. His down home manner, infectious wit, and stirring delivery inspire people to crawl out of the box and believe passionately in themselves, and achieve personal heights never dreamed possible. Joe talks about personal success in terms that he thoroughly understands, because he's been there and done that. He speaks of what he knows, sharing his own life experiences, and has a unique, often humorous way of dredging up those hidden demons we might be refusing to recognize.

CORNELIA MCDONALD was born in Apex, North Carolina, the daughter of a sharecropper and great-great-grandchild of slaves. Her father, who was a preacher, was a strict disciplinarian whose favorite motto was "spare the rod and spoil the child." He did not hesitate to use the rod on his children whom he raised in an atmosphere of fear and repression. Cornelia was singled out by her father as a target for constant verbal and physical abuse. From the age of nine she was forced into the back-breaking labor of planting and picking tobacco, milking cows, and cleaning the family's shack -- while her father kept up a relentless barrage of insults and beatings. Not surprising, Cornelia developed into a dysfunctional adult, overwhelmed by feelings of inferiority and insecurity. Her healing process were painful and gradual, but she ultimately reclaimed the person within whom she believed to be lost. It was a hard-won triumph of will.
