WES BLEED joined WGN in December 1983 as Assignment Editor, Reporter and News Anchor. He was named Assistant News Director in September of 1984. Wes can also be heard providing news reports and other stories for CLTV and WGN-TV. Wes is also a public speaker, and enjoys talking to a variety of audiences on such subjects as the media, change and motivation. He goes beyond the news, helping audiences gain a fresh perspective on the challenges they face. 

JEFFREY BIRNBAUM is an award-winning author, television commentator, columnist, and chief of FORTUNE magazine's Washington bureau. He joined FORTUNE in January 1997 after two years as a senior political correspondent for FORTUNE's sister publication, TIME. Before joining TIME in 1995, Birnbaum worked for the Wall Street Journal for 16 years. His last job at the Journal was as White House correspondent. On television he is a political analyst for Fox News Channel and is a regular panelist on PBS's Washington Week.
