Program
Topics
Lessons From Challenger
Drawing from his real life experiences - where lives
literally hung in the balance on the performance of a team -
Astronaut Mullane emphasizes the fundamentals of teamwork:
training, communication, responsibility and trust. He delivers
powerful lessons that are applicable to any team. Maintaining a
sense of vulnerability while enjoying long term success,
combating herd mentality, and balancing trust and ownership are
just a few of these lessons.
Countdown
to Teamwork
Countdown To Teamwork is a team-building /leadership
program in which Colonel Mullane motivates the audience on their
practice of these fundamentals of teamwork: guarding against a
“normalization of deviance”, responsibility, trust,
courageous self-leadership, and courageous team leadership. This
program is applicable to all teams everywhere. It has thrilled
and inspired personnel in sales, manufacturing, production,
safety…in ALL areas of company operations. It has been
cheered by managers and blue-collar workers, by union and
non-union teams. It has been enjoyed by men and women from every
corner of corporate America…from perfume sales teams to
nuclear power plant safety teams; from insurance company teams
to medical equipment manufacturers; from beverage producers to
record label teams.
The
Lighter Side of Spaceflight
Astronaut Mullane provides a hilarious behind the scenes
look at the comedy of the astronaut experience. Follow him
through the training program and laugh at his stories of
astronaut "gotcha's" - practical jokes. Join him 300
miles in earth orbit to experience some legendary Right Stuff
humor.
Audiences learn while they laugh with this ideal, after dinner
program.
The Ten
Thousand Nights Dream
Colonel
and Mrs. Mullane together deliver this gripping story of the gut
fear and the boundless joy that overwhelm an astronaut and
spouse during a space mission. Similar to a one-act play, The
Dream is also an ideal spouse program.
Going to The
Edge Of Your Envelope
Every astronaut
has taken a thundering machine to the edge of its performance
envelope, to its absolute limit. In this program, Astronaut
Mullane inspires the audience to seek their own personal
performance limits, where they will find a better
salesperson, a better executive . . .a better all around person.
Astronaut
Mullane has been inducted into the International Space Hall
of Fame and is the recipient of many awards, including the
Air Force Distinguished Flying Cross.
